Job Title: Psych - Registered Nurse Location: St. Louis, MO 63112 Duration: 06 Months to Long-Term Schedule: 06:00 AM to 6:30 PM \| 6:00 PM to 06:30 AM (36-48 Hours/Week) Role & Responsibilities: Provide bedside and general nursing care; take and recording pulse, blood pressure, respiration and temperature; applying dressing and bandages; etc. Provide direct nursing care including physical care and emotional support. Participate in performing nursing assessments to identify the strengths and nursing care needs of consumers. Participate in developing, implementing and evaluating nursing plans based on nursing assessment; participating in nursing diagnoses; implement nursing components of master treatment plan. Give medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician. Document and describe nursing care provided as well as observations and interventions that contribute to continuity of care. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings. Assist a physician with special procedures and treatments. Perform other related work as required. Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS Certification. Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an RN in a psychiatric and/or correctional setting. Minimum of one (1) year of experience working as a traveling RN.
