Join Macquarie Asset Management as a Credit Research Analyst in our Global Investment Grade Credit Research team based in Philadelphia. The role is to cover a broad number of credits operating across a range of sectors including, but not limited to utilities, TMT and energy.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will conduct comprehensive fundamental research within assigned industries, analyzing market dynamics, financial trends, and capital structures to develop credit and relative value views on investment grade opportunities. You will also provide investment recommendations and updates to portfolio managers and traders through reports, presentations, and ongoing monitoring of company news, while building and maintaining detailed financial models with sensitivity analyses. Additionally, you will develop relationships with company management and analysts and participate in client marketing presentations and the creation of credit-oriented documentation.
Salary range for this position: $150,000 - $242,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. You can further read about the full spectrum of benefits we offer our people listed below.



What you offer

  • A bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of industry coverage experience, with knowledge of financial concepts and leveraged finance investing.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, including experience with utilities, TMT, and energy sectors (highly regarded but not essential).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptable to internal systems and Bloomberg applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks daily.
  • Self-starter who works independently and collaboratively, with a CFA candidacy or a strong desire to pursue the CFA designation.
