- Minimum of five years of experience in assessment, data analysis, or related fields
- Demonstrated expertise in assessment methodologies, data collection, and statistical analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with OSD Policy-issued AM&E guidance, templates, and frameworks.
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience working with internal and external stakeholders across the DoD and other organizations.
- Proven ability to present data in clear, actionable formats, providing recommendations for process improvements or program adjustments.

Job Objective
The Assessment Analyst plays a crucial role in providing Assessment, Monitoring, and Evaluation services, focusing on the analysis of CENTCOM's media, social media interactions, and other related activities to inform and refine communication strategies. By delivering timely, insightful, and contextually informed analyses, the Analyst helps shape both internal and external communications, offering actionable recommendations aimed at maximizing engagement, followership, and overall effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Conduct data analysis using statistical and qualitative methods to identify trends, strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Use a variety of assessment tools such as surveys, questionnaires, and evaluation protocols to collect valid and reliable data for ongoing assessments of CENTCOM activities.
- Develop frameworks and methodologies for assessment plans, ensuring they align with operational goals and accurately measure desired outcomes
- Design and implement assessment strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of CENTCOM's communication efforts, including social media and media interactions.
- Ensure that assessments are tailored to meet the specific needs of initiatives, ensuring alignment with U.S. strategic guidance and operational goals.
- Monitor progress of ongoing initiatives and activities, ensuring the collection of accurate data and the tracking of relevant performance indicators.
- Collaborate with program managers, decision-makers, and other stakeholders to present findings, offer feedback, and implement improvements based on assessment results.
- Maintain effective relationships with broader DoD entities and organizations to facilitate communication and data exchange across stakeholders.
- Assist stakeholders in understanding the outcomes of evaluations, and help implement recommendations for continuous improvement.
