Salary

The typical annual salary range for this position is $120,000.00 USD to $180,000.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.



Responsibilities

    Design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes, including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination
  • Perform Navy and AF cooperative WSEP functions in alignment with aviation EW target operations and Range instrumentation to assess effectiveness of systems under test/training
  • Lead the design, integration, and deployment of advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) systems, including EA and AE payloads.
  • Translate Concept of Operations (CONOPS) into system-level requirements and constraints
  • Perform RF spectrum analysis, including signal propagation, interference, and system performance optimization
  • Support end-to-end lifecycle systems engineering, from concept development through field deployment
  • Develop system integration plans and oversee execution, ensuring compliance with Navy and Air Force WSEP standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including non-traditional engineering resources, contractors and stakeholders, to integrate new EA/AE technologies
  • Utilize tools such as MATLAB, DSP analysis, and test simulation environments to model and examine system performance
  • Prepare and present project status reports, recommendations, and proposals to senior leadership and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate acquisition, procurement, and production of necessary hardware and systems to align with program objectives


Qualifications

  • Between 3 to 10 years of experience performing the duties described in the functional description
  • 10 years' experience as an RF Systems Engineer
  • 5 years relevant WSEP direct support experience
  • Direct expertise in Electronic Warfare (EW) system development, EA/AE pod integration, and RF spectrum analysis
  • Experience leading Airborne Threat Simulation Systems and developing cutting-edge EA/AE aerial targets
  • Skills applicable to program management, financial analysis, and compliance with MIL-STD defense regulations
  • Proficient in system simulation and modeling tools, including MATLAB and RF signal analysis tools
  • Ability to lead classified and sensitive military programs
  • Demonstrated leadership in risk assessment, problem resolution, and optimizing mission-critical systems

EDUCATION

Degree: MS or MA degree in Systems Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.

ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional 4 years of relevant work experience, with a bachelor's degree, may be substituted for a master's degree.

CLEARANCE - SECRET

Condition of Employment: Applicant must have an active DoD SECRET Clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
