DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Administrative Assistant 1, you will be providing direct support and assistance to the Joinder's Administrative Assistant II to ensure efficient daily operations. Work involves maintaining the agency website, overseeing staff training, coordinating contract processes with providers, and providing front desk receptionist coverage as needed. In addition to providing comprehensive administrative support, you will serve as the primary handler for the Agency's Court Facility dog(s). This involves but it not limited to:
- Maintaining schedules and records
- Coordinating prioritized requests from staff
- Accompanying the dog to provide emotional support during meetings, hearings, proceedings, and visits
- Ensuring the health and well-being of the dog(s) and attending veterinarian appointments
- Guiding interactions during visits in a patient, polite, and professional manner
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
