This position reports to the Director for St. Paul Facilities and assists with the maintenance of the St. Paul Gymnasium and University Recreation and Wellness (URW) outdoor facilities in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Though assisted at times, by part-time/student employees, this position is expected to perform most of the assigned maintenance tasks directly. This position helps with the general cleaning of the St Paul Gymnasium, seasonal duties of outdoor facilities, outdoor snow shoveling around the Recreation and Wellness Sports Field Complex (Dome), and assisting with other facility-related cleaning and maintenance projects. This position requires problem solving and decision making on custodial issues on a daily basis. Specific tasks associated with assigned facilities, which include, but are not limited to:
This position will have an hourly rate of $22.39. The typical hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday, on-site. Indoor Facility Maintenance 65%
Outdoor Facility Maintenance 25%
Other 10%
