Neurodiagnostic Tech - Part Time - La Jolla

This is a part time, benefited position with a 8 hour shift that starts at 7:30 am. The location is Torrey Pines La Jolla but you may float to Oceanside, Rancho Bernardo, and another clinic in La Jolla. There is no Call, weekends or holidays.

The Neurodiagnostic Tech performs neurodiagnostic procedures which may include EEG, LTM, EMU, EMG, NCV, EP utilizing standard protocols supported by the American Society of Electro neurodiagnostic Technologists. They may assist with long term monitoring under guidance and/or supervision of Long Term Monitoring Tech and/or Lead Monitoring tech. Responsible for patient preparation, equipment transportation, entering patient charges, and maintaining supply inventory.

Requirements:

• AA through Neurodiagnostic program or proof of CEUs

• 6 months of experience (can be internship)
• BLS certificate through the American Heart Association

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

• Registration via ABRET for EEG
• 2 years of experience
