Job Summary As Director, Plant Controlling, you are a key member of the plant leadership team, reporting directly to the Vice President Finance, TechOps US, with a dual reporting line to the site head. You are responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities at the manufacturing site. This role ensures accurate reporting, effective internal controls, strategic financial planning, and support for operational excellence. The Plant Controller serves as a business partner to the site head and site leadership team, driving cost efficiency, profitability, and operational improvements.

Salary Range: $190,000-$205,000

Position is eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan with a target of 16% of the base salary.

Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead all financial operations for the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain accurate standard costs; analyze variances and provide actionable insights.
  • Analyze production performance metrics (e.g., scrap, yield, efficiency) and report financial impact.
  • Partner with plant senior leadership to develop cost-saving initiatives and monitor financial performance.
  • Act as a key contributor to continuous improvement projects for the department and site.
  • Monitor Net Working Capital targets and support capital efficiency projects for the site.
  • Oversee month-end close process for the site, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate policies, IFRS, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare CapEx proposals, conduct NPV/ROI analysis, obtain approvals, and track project spend according to approval.
  • Coordinate with external and internal auditors during audits and assessments.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop local plant accounting team members.
