Billing Clerk

Summary:

The Billing Clerk is a key position and responsible for timely invoicing, credits, re-bills, sending invoices, verifying PO's etc., and completes invoicing from the SNI (shipped not invoiced report).

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• 
  Prepare timely and accurate client billing daily, monthly.
  
• 
  Ensure billing cycles are handled efficiently and accurately
  
• 
  Respond to billing-related inquiries from clients and internal teams.
  
• 
  Address/Resolve escalations
  
• 
  Ability to work independently and complete daily tasks
  
• 
  Provide assistance as required to the entire AR & Cash app team
  
• 
  Run daily PBI (Power BI Report) for SNI as well as NAV SNI Report
  
• 
  Ensures back up documentation uploaded to NAV for revenue recognition and invoicing
  
• 
  Runs PBI reports to send to Warehouse, Managers, Controllers for assistance in missing backup
  
• 
  Knowledge of Portal customers, Open Invoice, Ariba, Oildex
  
• 
  Other responsibilities as needed and assigned
  

Skills/Knowledge

• 
  Must have Microsoft Office, accounting systems, spreadsheet knowledge.
  
• 
  Experience with Excel and Windows-based programs.
  
• 
  Experience in performing tasks that require a basic understanding of accounting and math skills.
  
• 
  Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
  
• 
  Working under SOX compliance controls.
  
• 
  Must have previous experience with high volume invoicing.
  
• 
  Excellent organizational skills.
  

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of Accounts Receivable and billing experience
