Job Summary

This role serves as a Senior Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Investigator responsible for conducting thorough, unbiased investigations into complaints of discrimination, harassment, and related policy violations. The position requires strong knowledge of EEO laws and regulations, advanced investigative skills, and the ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. The Senior EEO Investigator will conduct fact-finding activities, prepare comprehensive reports, provide guidance on EEO matters, and deliver targeted training to support an inclusive workplace culture. The individual in this role will collaborate with employees, HR partners, and stakeholders at all levels while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.

Job Responsibilities




  • Conduct EEO investigations, including interviews, credibility assessments, and analysis of evidence to reach well-supported conclusions.



  • Prepare clear and comprehensive written investigative reports.



  • Provide counseling and recommendations for resolving internal and external discrimination and harassment complaints.



  • Participate in mediations, hearings, and conferences with external agencies or internal arbitration as needed.



  • Research and maintain current knowledge of EEO and affirmative action laws and regulations; provide timely updates and guidance to stakeholders.



  • Deliver EEO training and awareness programs on topics such as discrimination, harassment, compliance, and respectful workplace practices.



  • Advise HR partners and employees on EEO-related policies, procedures, and best practices.



  • Communicate effectively and professionally with management, employees, and external representatives.



  • Manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.



  • Perform additional duties and assignments as required.



  • Support organizational needs during emergencies by performing assignments as needed.




Job Requirements




  • Minimum 5 years of experience conducting EEO investigations and handling related complaints.



  • Strong knowledge of EEO laws and regulations and experience providing guidance on best practices.



  • Proficiency in investigative techniques, case management, and credibility assessments.



  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and ensure timely resolution.



  • Strong written communication skills for preparing concise, accurate investigative reports.



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.



  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.



  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.



  • Ability to work professionally with sensitive and confidential information.



  • Valid driver's license.




Education




  • Master's degree preferred in Labor and Employment Law, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Management, or a related field.
