Site Supervisor

U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management service, is seeking a Site Supervisor for our Hardeeville SC location. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the daily facilities operations along with custodial operation of the Rest Area Facility they are assigned to. This role involves strong direct supervising of staff, implementing procedures and coordinating with other departments to maintain optimal cleanliness and safety.

Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring that all contract requirements are met at each designated Safety Rest Area. Ensuring facilities and grounds are cleaned according to contractual standards.
• Supervises, manages, and directs Rest Area Attendants by maintaining a consistent daily presence as required.
• Performs regular inspections of restrooms and common areas for sanitation, cleanliness, order, malfunctioning equipment and safety.
• Able to respond within sixty (60) minutes of notification to an emergency or as directed by the client.
• Available to be contacted twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week.
• Performs the essential duties and responsibilities of the Attendant or Weekend/Lead Supervisor while performing each role. Will assist attendants and staff as needed to ensure that all work is completed.
• Identifies areas within the facility and grounds that need maintenance, repair, or replacement.
• Oversees sub-contractors at the direction of the Area Mangers and Project Manager and their staff.
• Performs regular inspections of rest rooms and common areas for sanitation, cleanliness, order, malfunctioning equipment, and safety.
• Performs minor maintenance of facility such as changing light bulbs or filters, etc.
• Greets customers and assists them with any questions or concerns.
• Recognizes hazardous environments and corrects the issue accordingly.
• Maintain logs, attendance records, supply usage, and budget details.
• Promotes a positive culture of safety to reduce and/or eliminate accidents and injuries.
• Provide orientation, ongoing training in cleaning procedures, equipment use, and chemical safety
• Conduct performance evaluations and address training/coaching or disciplinary actions as needed.
• Performs job in a professional manner with a strong work ethic to "lead by example."
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE

• Experienced 2+ years in an established direct Supervisor role. With a strong ability to lead, manage and direct employees.
• Strong Janitorial and Facilities knowledge
• Must be able to manage a variety of personality types without exhibiting stress.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have 1+ years' experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams)
• Knowledge of applicable OSHA standards.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the maintenance and/or repair of buildings or other structures.

Working Conditions

• Ability to work in various seasonable/extreme weather conditions.
• Professional appearance and manner.
• Varying schedule, able to work all hours including nights and weekends as needed
• Valid Driver's license
