Lafayette Group is seeking qualified and team-oriented individuals to work with federal government organizations in support of national cybersecurity programs. The Cybersecurity Performance Analyst supports multi-agency collaboration and coordination, including strategic and operational planning, developing and enhancing information sharing networks, and leading engagements designed to support robust national cyber defense. This position will provide an understanding of how products, including publications, official guidance, blog posts, and social media, perform to educate the stakeholders it serves on cyber threats. Daily tasks may include providing stakeholder engagement support, developing high-quality deliverables, assessing the effectiveness and performance of engagement plans, coordinating with customers receiving services, and conducting stakeholder engagement, membership, and policy analyses.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work on a team of Program Analysts, Managers, and Subject Matter Experts to help clients solve nationally significant cybersecurity challenges.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders; demonstrate that their needs are heard and understood, and their feedback valued.
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decisions and drive mission outcomes.
  • Assist with implementing robust engagement strategies to cultivate effective information sharing, leveraging tools and automations to improve workflows and expedite information flow.
  • Support the collection and analysis of data and user feedback regarding the effectiveness and reach of engagement tools and strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive set of performance metrics, dashboards, and reports to measure program success and identify areas for improvement. Work closely with federal and internal stakeholders to:

    • Ensure effective collection, analysis, and reporting of performance data.
    • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to optimize performance and efficiency.


  • Understand requirements of client's partners, client solutions, and capability implementation requirements to provide cyber threat mitigation strategies.
  • Provide analysis on product adoption rates and usage across partner communities, identifying early indicators of success and work to remove any barriers to implementation.
  • Act as the overarching strategic thinker that can help align cyber threat solutions to vulnerabilities and risk that affect JCDC partner communities.
  • Work cross-functionally across client components to identify opportunities to amplify coordination and engagement.



Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, business analysis, management, or similar field.
  • 5+ years of experience in performance analysis, data analysis, customer experience or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends and patterns.
  • Experience with data visualization and storytelling to present performance metrics and key insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical.
  • Experience with analytic tools such as Qualtrics.
  • Ease in using (or adapting to) new communication channels and outreach strategies, including social media, webinars, and partner portals.
  • Proven experience in reviewing and providing guidance on technical solutions.
  • Strong background in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  • US citizenship with an ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability (EOD).



Desired Skills

  • Active TS security clearance and SCI eligibility.
  • Prior consulting or program support experience with DHS, CISA, or other federal cybersecurity organizations.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization tool, such as Tableau or Power BI; experience with JIRA, Confluence, Service Now, and other similar tools.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, specifically in analyzing cybersecurity solutions and providing guidance on their implementation to meet unique network threats.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently while maintaining excellent communication with project leadership.



Location: Arlington, VA

Salary Range: $75,000-$120,000

LGI carefully considers various factors when determining salary, including but not limited to education and training, professional experience, knowledge, skills and competencies, licensure and certifications, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. New employees are not usually hired at the top of the estimated salary range and salary decisions depend on the circumstances and factors for each case. Salary is only one aspect of LGI's generous total compensation package.

Federal Contracts: This position involves working on federal contracts that require all workers on the contract to be U.S. Citizens. Additionally, some contracts may require the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Contingent Hire: This position will be hired contingent upon winning the Federal contract work.
