Shift: The regular hours for this position are day shift.Job Description: The Principal Product Manufacturing Engineer is a key member of a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for the development and continuous improvement of MEMS probe technologies for semiconductor wafer testing. This role provides technical leadership in both pre-sales and post-sales activities, including product configuration, design proposals, yield optimization, and best practice development. The engineer will work closely with customers to understand technical requirements, guide product development decisions, and ensure successful implementation. Additionally, this position contributes to product roadmap planning and evaluates technical feasibility for new customer requests. Key Responsibilities:
Skills: AutoCAD 3D, Data Analysis, Design of Experiments (DOE), Experiential Design, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis FMEA, MATLAB, Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS), Microfabrication, Problem Solving, Product Development Engineering, Project Management, Python (Programming Language), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), SolidWorks, Statistical Process Control (SPC)Education & Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work| RequiredPay Range: $110,700.00 - $145,320.00Pay Range Explained: This role in Livermore, California pays between $110,700.00 and $145,320.00 per year, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations.
