The Product & Cyber Security Group is a global, cross-department group that works to manage efforts in identifying, investigating, and mitigating priority threats to the security of Nintendo's products and systems.

As a Sr Analyst you will help to manage an expanding operational scope. This position will provide strategic, technical, and operational support in the areas of threat intelligence and investigations.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Designs and implements innovative practices that identify and mitigate a wide variety of business risks (e.g. piracy, IP infringement, trade secret theft).
  • Coordinates threat intelligence collection efforts across information sources.
  • Conducts research into Nintendo-specific, and gaming industry, security threats and threat actor activity.
  • Analyzes intelligence to identify and respond to security threats.
  • Communicates research and intelligence analysis to relevant global stakeholders and Executives.
  • Supports criminal prosecutions and civil litigation.
  • Manages external business partners, including investigative firms, outside counsel, and technology vendors.
  • Simultaneous management of numerous projects.
  • Broader responsibilities to be accomplished in conjunction with other departments may include: investigation, analysis, and response to network incidents, supply chain loss, and risk assessments of various business procedures and protocols.
  • Routinely works with and maintains the integrity of highly confidential information.
  • Curate and continually update Nintendo's historical threat intelligence data.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
  • Five or more years of relevant threat intelligence and investigative experience.
  • Experience monitoring, identifying, and responding to credible security threats.
  • Strong knowledge of Open-Source Intelligence best practices and methodologies.
  • Proven ability to creatively address a wide range of complex corporate and global security issues.
  • Experience analyzing and reporting threat intelligence to Executives and global stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating with third-party investigative entities, outside counsel, and law enforcement.
  • Exceptional communication skills; ability to communicate technical information in a concise, effective manner to a wide range of domestic and international audiences.
  • Knowledge of video game system hardware/software and security, and online applications.
  • Familiar with common threat intelligence tools (e.g. DomainTools, Maltego, Shodan).
  • Experience navigating the dark and deep web ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with application programming interfaces (APIs) for data collection and as a delivery method for indicators and intelligence.
  • Certification or experience working with AI and Machine Learning, preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, or relevant experience working in threat intelligence, analysis, and investigations.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $117,400 - $211,300 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
