Job Description

Visa's North America Client Marketing Services (NA CMS) team is seeking a Senior Manager to lead core business operations and strategic planning. Marketing Services is a rapidly growing business that delivers value to clients through marketing advisory, campaign execution, sponsorships, and program activation in close partnership with Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA), and the Global Marketing Services team.

As a senior member of the Business Planning and Operations (BPO) team, you will drive operational excellence, ensure strong financial and pipeline management, streamline processes, and enable the Marketing Services business to scale efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of marketing, operations, and analytics - and who is energized by improving how marketing delivers measurable impact for clients and for Visa.

You will operate with autonomy, lead crossfunctional initiatives, and serve as a strategic partner to Client Marketing leaders. If you're analytical, structured, collaborative, and comfortable influencing across a matrixed environment, we'd love to meet you.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead NA CMS pipeline and financial operations process, tracking revenue, expense, resource needs, and timing in partnership with VCA, Finance, and Client Marketing teams.
  • Conduct deep dive analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform strategic decisions and resource allocation
  • Serve as the regional lead for the Pipeline Management Tool, driving adoption, providing training and support, and championing tool enhancements.
  • Enhance pipeline governance, reporting standards, and data quality across the region.
  • Lead workstreams for annual planning, including timelines, consolidation of inputs, efficiency analyses, and development of business cases for incremental headcount or investment.
  • Ensure annual planning outputs and goals align with business priorities, financial requirements, and global partner expectations.
  • Support pricing strategy decisions through pricing analyses and recommendations that enable margin positive and scalable growth.
  • Streamline legal and contract workflows, enhance templates and tools, and improve the overall experience for Client Marketers.
  • Drive process improvements across CMS operations, including responses to Audit or Operational Risk findings.
  • Facilitate recurring cross functional touchpoints with Client Marketing Leads, VCA, Finance, and Global Marketing Services.
  • Develop clear, concise executive level communications and readouts for senior leadership and global stakeholders.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:

9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD

Experience in marketing operations, business operations, consulting, finance, or similar analytical or strategic functions.

Strong analytical, financial, and problem solving capabilities.

Exceptional communication and executive ready presentation skills.

Proven ability to lead cross functional initiatives with limited oversight.

Experience working in fast paced, matrixed environments.

Experience with pipeline management tools, forecasting, or resource planning.

Background in marketing or marketing operations, knowledge of marketing processes and campaign delivery.

Familiarity with budgeting, financial reporting, or performance management.

Experience engaging with finance, operations, legal, or compliance partners.

Ability to influence without authority and drive consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 153,700.00 to 223,100.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
