Location:Remote Job Summary
The main responsibilities of the Electrical BIM Modeler include creating and maintaining 3D models using BIM software,collaborating with contractors, engineers, and other members of the construction planning services team, ensuring themodels are accurate and meet project requirements, and using the models to identify and resolve conflicts or issuesduring the design phase. This individual will produce jobsite electrical installation drawings based on innovative andefficient practices. He or she will be responsible for applying BIM/VDC knowledge, concepts, and experience to size,evaluate, select, and specify raceway and wire routing for electrical power, lighting, and auxiliary systems in accordancewith relevant codes and standards. Utilizing existing custom Southwire technology tools as well as industryBIM/VDC tools and technologies. Key Responsibilities
Required Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree Years of Experience: 2-4 Years Field(s) of Expertise: Electrical Modeling/Design Preferred Education & Experience
Years of Experience: 5-7 Years Field(s) of Expertise: Electrical Design Preferred Certifications/Licenses: BIM Technology Certification, Autodesk Certified Professional Spans of Control
Does this role manage Southwire team members: No Travel
