GENERAL FUNCTION

STARS is a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) partnership solution that EssilorLuxottica provides to clients, supporting them in maximizing sales turns through optimized frame assortment planning and automated replenishment managed directly on their behalf.

The STARS Planner is responsible for onboarding clients to our board management program, manage their inventory procurements through our proprietary planning platform with the objective of maximizing the client's retail sales.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Develop a thorough understanding of frames and lens products that are key drivers to the company's integrated offer programs
  • Communicate effectively with key internal stakeholders both locally and globally - i.e., sales, product, supply chain, data teams
  • Client on-boarding and day-to-day inventory management


    • Partner with sales team to interface with new clients to understand store and product matrixes and top line current sales performances
    • Set up Stars planning platform parameters to manage stock ownership in store/office. In particular:


      • Frame inventory management to support sales (UPC level) at DC or store/office level
      • Client integrated offer programs, i.e., brand matrix management at location and brand level



  • Optimize sell out performance across the assigned customer portfolio


    • Monitor weekly sales and stock ownership KPIs to highlight risks and opportunities
    • Adjust sales plans and stock ownership at brand, item, and location level to closely follow sales trends and increase stock turns
    • Conduct periodic business reviews with clients and sales teams to align on performance, opportunities and corrective actions


  • Support key projects and initiatives related to integrated offer programs as needed
  • Sales operations follow through on order flows and warehouse communication
  • Maintain weekly communication cadence with inventory planning team, including order generation follow-up
  • Constant monitoring of buffer stock for demand planning purposes to ensure high fill rate for clients


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Intelligence or related field
  • At least 2 years of previous experience in merchandising and/or demand planning with established retailers or suppliers
  • Strong analytic skills and business acumen
  • Data-driven mindset
  • Cross-functional collaboration
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to cut through complexity
  • Excellent ability to identify business issues and solve them autonomously
  • Knowledge of Oracle RPAS, BI and SAP preferred

Pay Range:69,966.40-97,740.80
