This role will teach and evaluate nurse aide students at two skills labs in the Milwaukee area. Compensation for this role is $50 per hour. Adjunct Faculty are eligible to participate in the Herzing 401(k) plan with a generous company match and our excellent education assistance programs!

Requirements:



  • Master's Degree in Nursing or Education OR have completed the Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Train the Trainer program.
  • At least two years of experience working as an RN with at least one year of experience working as an RN in a long term care facility.


  • Previous experience in teaching and/or nursing leadership is preferred



Primary Responsibilities:

Hours worked can be flexible based on the availability of the candidate.

This role will teach and evaluate nurse aide students at skills labs in the Milwaukee and/or Kenosha, WI areas. Faculty responsibilities fall into eight basic areas:

Physical Requirements:



  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position most of the time.
  • Must be able to occasionally move around the work location.
  • Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
  • Constantly operates office and/or tech equipment which may include computers, copiers, fax machines, audio/visuals.
  • Frequently uses voice and hearing to communicate with students, staff or colleagues face-to-face or over the telephone.
  • Visually or otherwise identify, observe and assess.
  • Occasionally move, carry, or lift 10 pounds.
