The Manager - Cyber Security Operations is a Senior level professional with extensive knowledge and experience with cyber security management principles, practices, concepts, and theories. Responsible for the planning and development of an enterprise information cybersecurity strategy and best practices in support of the enterprise's information security architecture. Collaborates with key business and IT leaders to develop security and business continuance standards and action plans. Technical professional who is responsible for tactical execution of Cleco's cyber security operations by providing day-to-day tactical leadership and direction to the cyber security team. The Manager of Cybersecurity Operations works very closely with the Director of Cyber Security & CISO and other partners in IT, OT, and the business to ensure the cyber security program and technology aligns with Cleco's overall business strategy. Manages vendors to ensure managed services meet or exceed the enterprise's needs. Responsible for ensuring that tools or technologies are implemented to reduce the risk of cyber-attacks against systems. Key Responsibilities
- Champions a corporate culture that emphasizes transparency, integrity, safety, environmental responsibility, employee development, diversity and inclusion, customer service, and operational excellence
- Oversees and manages Security Operations Center (SOC) execution, including vendor performance, on-call rotation, threat detection, and efficient incident response in accordance with Cleco's Cyber Security Incident Response Plan (CSIRP)
- Partners with the CIO in providing technology vision and direction for the enterprise.
- Oversees and manages Vulnerability and Patch Management Program execution, including vendor performance, in accordance with cyber security policies and standards.
- Prioritizes and tracks projects, tasks, incidents, and changes to ensure work assignments are executed efficiently to safeguard Cleco's digital assets.
- Provides regular status reports to the CISO regarding projects, tasks, incidents, and changes.
- Prepares and presents presentations/briefings on various cyber security topics in support of the cyber security strategy to foster a cybersafe-aware culture.
- Manage IT security analysts to ensure that all applications are functional and secure.
- Develop and deliver IT security standards, best practices, architecture and systems to ensure information system security across the enterprise.
- Implement procedures and methods for auditing and addressing non-compliance to information security standards.
- Conducts research, identification, and evaluation of cyber security technology in support of the overall strategy.
- Oversees and manages Cyber Security Awareness & Training Program execution, in accordance with cyber security policies and standards.
- Coordinates and supervises the installation and configuration of cyber security technology.
- Oversee activities of prevention and detection of intrusion.
- Effectively partners with IT and OT teams in support of the execution of the cyber security strategy and roadmap.
Qualifications Required Education, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of related experience
- 2-5+ years people management experience, preferred
- Knowledge of standard enterprise security business practices and professionalism
- Extensive knowledge of industry and cyber security related technology trends.
- Thrive on working in a team and supporting others to achieve goals/targets
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees to address difficult issues
- Ability to manage high workloads and conflicting priorities
- Ability to operate effectively and proactively with an employee centric mindset

Licenses and Certifications
- Achievement of an industry standard certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISSP, CISA, SANS GIAC, or Security+ is preferred.
