Job Summary:



The School of Social & Behavioral Sciences invites Student Teaching Supervisors for the 2026-2027 academic year.



Essential Functions:



The Teacher Education Department is collaborative community of 11 full-time faculty as well as several, valued, part-time faculty. The department offers New York State-approved pathways including Adolescence Education with Special Education, Childhood Education with Special Education, a Birth through Grade 2 (B-2) certificate, and the M.S. Ed. in Contemporary Curriculum and Instruction. Grounded in culturally responsive teaching and a commitment to the social good, faculty work closely with candidates to integrate theory, research, and sustained fieldwork, preparing innovative educators who are ready to support the success of all learners.



Minimum Qualifications:



Teaching certification in relevant content grades 1-6 or grades 7-12.
