Operations Supervisor

• Salary: $90,000 annually
• Bonus: 10%
• Location: Vancouver, WA
• Schedule: Rotating- M-F 5:30 am-3:00 pm the 1st, 2nd, and 4th week. The 3rd week will be M-F 9 am until the last driver returns to the site.

• Assign and supervise work crews operating solid waste collection equipment

• Monitor daily operations and adjust staffing as needed

• Develop and execute safety goals

• Conduct field inspections and audits

• Review customer complaints and resolve issues

• Perform performance reviews and coaching

• Set short- and long-term goals for the hauling company

• Oversee compliance programs (environmental, OSHA, local permitting)

• Collaborate with union representatives and manage unionized employees.

• This position is safety sensitive

• Ability to relocate for promotional opportunities

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred

• Experience in transportation/trucking/logistics

• Class B CDL (or ability to obtain within 90 days)

• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities

• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel and business systems skills
