About This Role
K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for an ASSISTANT ATHLETIC DIRECTOR - TICKETING, which is a full-time, salaried, benefits-eligible position.
An example of job duties includes but are not limited to:


  • Oversees a unit responsible for all ticket operations for K-State's six ticketed sports - football, men's and women's basketball, volleyball, soccer and baseball, as well as student passes and the Junior Wildcats Club
  • Leads the ticket office, including a director, assistant director, post-graduate intern and multiple parttime and student workers
  • Tracks unsold inventory, pace of sales, revenue, pricing, and secondary marketplace trends to maximize ticket revenue and attendance through all available tools, including dynamic pricing
  • Directly manages partnerships with Paciolan, Ballena, Consolidated Printing, SeatGeek, Elevate, Affinaquest and many others
  • Nights, weekends, and travel required
  • Other duties as assigned

Worksite Description

This position is On-site.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.


What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 years of experience in an athletics ticket office
  • Experience with Paciolan
  • Experience with Ballena
  • Experience with secondary ticket partners
  • Experience with dynamic pricing
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills with an attention to detail
  • Excellent written and communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience leading a ticket office at a Power 4 athletic department
  • Experience hosting an NCAA post-season ticketed event
  • Experience with bowl games
  • Proven revenue generation experience
  • Knowledge and oversight of budget

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
