About This Role

The Kansas State University College of Education is seeking applicants for a Human Resources Representative. This position provides coordination and oversight to human resource management for the College of Education. It manages time and leave processing and provides training, expertise, and guidance to college employees regarding personnel and time and leave matters. This position fulfills the Dean of Education's responsibility to ensure that university, Board of Regents, state, and federal employment policies, rules, regulations, and laws are appropriately interpreted.

Worksite Description

This position is hybrid eligible. The hybrid work agreement for this position will include up to three days of remote work per week. Additional details about potential hybrid work in this role will be discussed during interviews.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.


What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Requires a high school diploma and three years of relevant experience.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • At least one year of experience in human resources.
  • Experience with Human Resources Information System and PageUp.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and database programs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and resolve problems.


Sponsorship eligibility:

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
