Position Summary:

As a Quality Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of our mission to deliver exceptional products. In this role, you'll ensure compliance with quality systems, packaging processes, and all related documentation-upholding the highest standards of SOPs and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

You'll lead daily quality activities on the production floor while actively contributing to improvement initiatives that reduce defects and resolve quality challenges. Your insights will help shape smarter processes and drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitors daily quality activities of Quality Leads and floor inspectors on the production floor.
  • Resolves quality issues on the production floor.
  • Supports Quality team members to ensure products and processes comply with the requirements of the quality management system.
  • Monitors compliance of processes and associated records with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and collaborates with Operations and R&D as needed.
  • Works collaboratively with interdepartmental and cross-functional teams to implement necessary changes in a timely and productive manner.
  • Maintains accurate attendance records and files proper reports (e.g., accident, probation).
  • Supervises, counsels, and coaches associates regularly.
  • Assists in training factory team members in Quality and Food Safety.
  • Trains QA Floor Inspectors on SOPs.
  • Understands equipment, commissioning procedures, pre-operational preparation requirements, process controls, and sanitation requirements.
  • Identifies issues affecting efficiency and assists in developing solutions.
  • Responsible for plant GMP audits and the Glass and Hard Plastic program; reports findings to area owners and assists in problem-solving for assigned areas.
  • Supports on-time closure of assigned deviations and CAPAs.
  • Reports Quality metrics in DDS meetings and prepares investigations to determine causes of quality deficiencies, including customer concerns.
  • Conducts root cause analysis and implements corrective actions for process-related concerns.
  • Leads continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science or other related field preferred.
  • 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations for the GMP of Dietary Supplements and Foods.
  • Experience with Food Safety plans/HACCP, GFSI a plus
  • Problem solving and statistical skills using quality tools (Pareto analysis, statistical process control, multi-variant DOE etc.)
  • Knowledge in computer software programs (PowerPoint presentations, Microsoft Office, statistics)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work with known allergens especially fish and shellfish product.
  • Physical ability to lift, stand, climb, bend, etc. within a manufacturing environment.
  • Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish and shellfish)

The approximate pay range for this position is $80,000.00 to $90,000.00. Please note that thepay rangeprovided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
