The Department of Medicine (DoM) is the largest department within the UCSD School of Medicine (SoM) and is responsible for fulfilling its teaching, research, and clinical missions. DoM employees approximately 600 salaried faculty, nearly 300 academic appointees, and more than 300 residents, fellows, and postdocs, supported by over1,000 staff members. Under supervision, provide support for an observational study of mixed toxin exposure related to the 2023 train derailment in East Palestine, OH. Duties will include email outreach to consented participants to communicate details of study participation and links to online questionnaires. Monitor surveys that have been sent to participants and follow-up with participants to solicit missing data from incomplete surveys. Assist with community outreach to provide information about study participation to East Palestine, OH residents. Work with PI and East Palestine community partners to advertise IRB approved recruitment flyers in local government offices and businesses. Other duties assigned as needed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $45,769 - $58,318 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $21.92 - $27.93 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
