Data Product Team

The Data Product team is responsible for the full lifecycle of transaction banking data assets. This includes:



  • Defining and prioritizing requirements for building and enhancing data assets.
  • Driving data democratization through self-service BI tools and training programs.
  • Developing training materials and documentation to promote effective data utilization.
  • Managing ad-hoc data requests and ensuring timely delivery of accurate information.


We are looking for a Data Product Manager, to own and execute these functions for a core portfolio of data assets as well as support an overall Data Product team. The individual should have an interest in overall business and financial performance and have strong analytical, data, and platform experience to help own and operate some of the following functions:



  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including product and engineering to build and enhance a core portfolio of data assets and dashboards ensuring data quality and integrity. Define and document technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for data transformation pipelines, ensuring engineering teams have clear specifications for implementation.
  • Build strong, trusted working relationships with critical business partners (e.g. Products, Sales, Operations, Engineering, etc.) to ensure that the processes are executed in accordance to standards
  • Execute the product lifecycle for data and BI assets, from discovery and requirements definition through launch and iteration, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Document standard operating procedures for data governance, transformation processes, and BI tool usage to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Design, build, and maintain a core suite of dashboards and reports leveraging transaction banking data assets to provide actionable insights. Create effective, user-friendly reporting solutions that enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions with confidence.
  • Implement and enforce data governance processes including documentation of data lineage, transformation logic, and data quality rules across multiple environments.


What we are looking for:



  • Strong knowledge of the Transaction Banking industry, including Treasury Services, Liquidity, and FX.
  • Proven analytical skills with a passion for extracting insights from large datasets to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and data visualization analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Amazon QuickSight, Alteryx). Experience with SQL and/or Python is a plus.
  • Able to prioritize opportunities in ambiguous situations and align work with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to navigate and influence a complex organization.
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and a commitment to maintaining a robust data governance and controls environment.


Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data product management, data analysis, or a related role within the financial services, fintech, or consulting industries.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • MBA or Master's degree
  • Experience with a relevant quantitative field, e.g. statistics, business analysis, general product management, etc.
