SUMMARY

The SVP Chief Legal Officer is responsible for leading the legal function and aligning legal strategy with overall business objectives. Oversee all legal, compliance, and risk management functions within Grady healthcare. This role combines deep legal expertise with executive leadership and strategic vision, ensuring the company operates within legal boundaries while proactively managing risk and enabling growth. Ensures Grady operates within legal and regulatory frameworks while supporting strategic growth, patient safety, and operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership and in good standing with the Georgia state bar
• 15+ years of legal experience, with at least 10 years in healthcare law or a related regulatory environment.
• Executive leadership experience in a legal context is essential, often with a proven track record of managing legal teams and advising senior leadership.
• Experience in healthcare compliance, risk management, litigation, corporate governance, and strategic transactions is highly valued.
