Job Description




As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Shift Lead in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This is a driving post. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for healthcare environments.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the healthcare location.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and first responders during emergency or critical incidents, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed records and logs of activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
  • Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and monitoring the flow of people within the healthcare location.
  • Support Allied Universal in promoting a welcoming and secure environment for all individuals at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Hospital: Vaccines are required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
