As a Security Officer - Mall Patrols in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and respond to situations as they arise. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the well-being of people and property at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities.
• Document and report incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain order within the retail environment.
• Offer support and assistance to visitors, customers, and staff, addressing questions and providing directions as needed.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required, following established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
