Job Summary:
Pave America is a private equity-backed, fast-growing, and highly acquisitive facility services company. We have over 30 operating companies located in most of the major population centers in the U.S. The company has an annual revenue of ~$1 billion and has over 1,500 employees across the country. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shop Operations Assistant to support our equipment maintenance and asset management operations within a large and growing business in the asphalt and concrete paving industry. This position plays a key role in organizing, tracking, and improving the performance of our maintenance systems across multiple branch locations. The ideal candidate will have strong data management skills, experience with CMMS platforms (preferably Limble), and the ability to collaborate with both management and technical teams to streamline reporting and maintenance processes.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Limble CMMS Administration:
- Work within the Limble Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Asset Management software to ensure accurate and consistent data entry.
- Develop and maintain asset records, input maintenance schedules, and oversee work orders.
- Coordinate with Limble developers and internal management to customize system formats, dashboards, and reports to meet company needs.
- Work Order Oversight:
- Monitor and track work order progress across multiple branch locations.
- Ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair tasks.
- Identify and escalate delays, bottlenecks, or recurring issues to management.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Analyze reports on equipment performance, maintenance trends, and cost efficiency.
- Provide actionable insights to help management reduce repair and maintenance expenses.
- Cross-Organization Collaboration:
- Partner with the management team, shop supervisors, and field personnel to ensure consistent maintenance standards across branches.
- Support training and communication efforts related to CMMS use and best practices.
Qualifications (Experience, Education & Certifications, Key Attributes):
- Experience with Limble CMMS or similar computerized maintenance management software preferred.
- Strong data entry, reporting, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency and ability to work in a very fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams and locations.
- Experience in the construction, asphalt, or concrete paving industry a plus.
