About the Role

We are seeking a Reliability Engineer to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As a Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in maximizing asset performance, improving equipment reliability, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that support safe, efficient, and highquality production.

Shift & Schedule



  • Shift: 1st
  • Hours: 8am - 5pm (flexible schedule required)
  • Travel: 5-10%
  • Weekend Availability: Optional / As needed



Compensation



  • Salary Range: $130,000 - 150,000



Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)



  • Apply reliability engineering principles to improve asset availability, throughput, safety, and environmental performance.
  • Lead development of Equipment Maintenance Plans (EMPs), failure mode analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and storeroom operations, including Asset Criticality Database management.
  • Analyze equipment failure data to optimize preventive maintenance, MRO inventory, and equipment design.
  • Manage conditionbased monitoring programs and the site's FRACAS (Failure Reporting, Analysis & Corrective Action System).
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA/RCFA) efforts and maintain reliability analysis databases.
  • Support capital engineering projects to ensure proper equipment design, installation, and commissioning.



Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Reliability, or related field.
  • 3-10 years of experience as a Reliability or Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance methodologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, CMMS (SAP preferred), statistical analysis tools, and reliability modeling software.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.



Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)



  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP).
  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience applying Design for Reliability (DfR) principles to new equipment.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement tools such as 5S, Kaizen, PDCA, and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Experience managing or supporting capital engineering projects.
