The group of Neepa Maitra at Rutgers University-Newark seeks applicants for an open Post-Doctoral Associate position to start in January 2026 or later. The appointment is initially for one year with the possibility of renewal upon mutual agreement.
The successful candidate would work on projects in methods development for coupled electron-nuclear dynamics based on the exact factorization approach and time-dependent density functional theory. Projects involve theory developments, algorithmic implementation, and analysis. Experience with electronic structure and dynamics, non-adiabatic molecular dynamics, and coding is strongly selected for. Please see
