What to Expect
Tesla's Megapack Sales Team is at the forefront of delivering Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions to utilities, independent power producers, and renewable developers. This role focuses on managing the continuous improvement of contract forms that underpin all Megapack deals, acting as the primary voice of sales to align contract language with commercial objectives. Collaborating closely with sales, commercial leadership, legal, and business operations teams, this position ensures strategic alignment and effective implementation across active negotiations. Ideal candidates will bring extensive experience in contract management, preferably within the renewable energy or power sector, to support Tesla's mission of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy.

What You'll Do
  • Manage continuous evolution and improvement of Tesla form contracts including SPA, LTSA, EPC, and other related documents
  • Interface with the Megapack Sales Team and broader organization as the voice of sales to drive alignment on contract update priorities and outcomes
  • Review contract terms across active negotiations to identify trends and solutions to novel issues
  • Develop negotiation tools and trainings for the sales team to improve contract knowledge and solution sets across the team

What You'll Bring
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of work experience, ideally in the renewable energy space or power sector
  • Extensive experience in a similar role in contract management
  • Proven track record of working in cross-functional, complex organizations
  • Excellent project management and reporting capabilities
  • Degree in a quantitative field, or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of battery systems, power conversion, and grid markets
  • Experience managing workflows in fast-paced, dynamic environments

    Expected Compensation
    $108,000 - $162,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
