As a Security Professional - Retail Mall Patrol Driver in Nottingham, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer, where you will monitor and patrol retail or mall locations to help create a secure environment for visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and offer outstanding customer service through clear communication and a people-first approach. This position requires a valid driver's license, as driving may be part of your regular duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies while assisting visitors, tenants, and staff at the retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall property, including the business premises and surrounding perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal and/or site management in a timely manner.
• Assist with access control procedures and monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unwanted behavior.
• Provide visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity within the location.
• Document and communicate all security-related incidents and/or issues according to Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
