AV is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Key responsibilities will include interacting with the Government, regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts and regularly communicating with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. You'd like to do this:

• Individually motivated, self-starter, capable of understanding vague requirements and delivering novel approaches.
• Provide automation expertise to an infrastructure team of system engineers and system administrators.
• Design and implement solutions to optimize infrastructure performance and security.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate solutions with existing CI/CD and deployment pipelines.
• Mentor junior administrators on best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of building trust as an external expert.

You are required to have this:

• 12+ years of experience as a System Engineer or similar role




• 4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree




• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes or ECS).
• Experience with cloud platforms

Salary Range: $180,000 - $215,000
