We are seeking an Associate DevOps Engineer who is eager to learn and grow in a cloud-focused environment. In this early-career role, you'll support the development and automation of cloud software using multi-cloud offerings and open-source tools. You'll assist in building and maintaining our CI/CD pipeline, monitoring, and analytics infrastructure, while collaborating with experienced team members and stakeholders across the enterprise. Success in this role requires curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to develop new technical skills. You'll be part of a supportive, fast-paced team that values learning and continuous improvement. A Day In the Life Typically looks like: Assist in identifying and suggesting process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Help monitor performance metrics and report opportunities for improvement to senior team members. Participate in on-call rotation as appropriate for your experience level and support team KPI goals. Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and learning from data analysis. Collaborate with internal teams and business units to help resolve system-related issues. Assist in developing automation solutions that are reusable and add value, with mentorship from experienced engineers. Document processes, solutions, and learnings to support team knowledge sharing and onboarding. Basic Qualifications: Basic scripting skills in Python (required). Basic understanding of Linux and Windows system administration. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (through coursework, projects, or internships). Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitHub) from academic or personal projects. Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Docker, Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible). Interest in or experience with containerization and clustering technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Awareness of monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Grafana, SumoLogic). Experience working on cloud-based projects or internships Understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipeline. Experience with automation or scripting beyond coursework (personal projects, hackathons, etc.) Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic system or application issues.
