You may have also acquired the following skills:



  • Experience with leading multi-discipline and technical integration of engineering deliverables
  • Familiarity with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and NRC regulatory requirements and guidance for the applications to construct and operate nuclear power plants

    • e.g. 10CFR50.55a, 10CFR50 Appendices A and B, NUREG-0800


  • Familiarity with large component replacement at nuclear power plants
  • Experience interacting with regulatory authorities
  • Nuclear Industry Experience



Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Project Engineer in Charlotte, NC, you will be part of the proven team in the Steam Generator Replacement Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your day-to-day will radiate around a best method approach to support large component replacement through an engineered opening in a pre-stressed concrete containment structure. To support this engineering effort a core knowledge base of the various project stakeholders is crucial to maintain cohesion on a common project directive; replace large components. Key stakeholders include Engineering, Field Engineering, Construction, Quality Control and the Customer. This position requires up to 25% travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $118,000 - $160,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
