You may have also acquired the following skills:

• Proficient in structural analysis and design codes (e.g. ACI 318/349 and AISC Steel Construction Manual), and rigging requirements
• Excellent technical written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with software tools such as ANSYS, GT STRUDL, or SASSI
• Familiarity with seismic analyses and methods of determining seismic loading
• Nuclear Industry Experience

This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Civil/Structural Lead Engineer in Charlotte, NC, you will be part of the proven team in the Steam Generator Replacement Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your day-to-day will radiate around a best method approach to support large component replacement through an engineered opening in a pre-stressed concrete containment structure. To support large component replacement, engineered platforms are required to assist in the creation of an engineered opening in pre-stressed concrete containment structure as well as providing support of the large component during removal and reinstallation. In addition, any structural commodities that pose as interferences of the large component and engineering opening are removed and subsequently reinstalled to original design basis qualifications. This position requires up to 25% travel and short-term outage support. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $101,000 - $138,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
