How you will make history here...

You will play a critical role in ensuring uninterrupted production across 16 facilities by managing packaging material supply for Pepperidge Farm and Snyder's bakery operations. Your ability to optimize material planning and collaborate across procurement, demand planning, and capacity planning will directly impact efficiency and cost savings. Success in this role means reducing excess materials, supporting innovation launches, and enhancing collaboration across the supply chain.

What you will do...

  • Manage inventory and issue purchase orders for packaging materials.

  • Maintain material master data (lead time, safety stock, lot size) with a focus on optimization and continuous improvement.

  • Monitor material exceptions daily and resolve supply issues.

  • Support new product launches and manage material transitions.

  • Coordinate interplant transfers and expedite orders as needed.

  • Collaborate with procurement and plant teams to improve service and reduce inventory levels.

  • Track and report KPIs related to material optimization and inventory reduction.

Who you will work with...

  • Reports into centralized materials planning team and will work closely with Procurement, Demand Planning, Capacity Planning, and plant-level material representatives.

Future of the business: Driving material optimization strategies, supporting new product launches, and implementing sustainability initiatives like reducing material deadstock.

What you will bring to the table... (Must Have)

  • High School Diploma and a minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement related functions (Minimum Qualifications)

It would be great if you have... (Nice to Have)

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management.

  • Experience in CPG or food industry.

  • Familiarity with material optimization strategies and KPI tracking.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$62,200-$89,500

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
