This is a full-time in-office position, with some flexibility to work remotely.

How you make a difference in this role:

The Director of Operations and Logistics plays a critical role in supporting the effective functioning of the Office of General Counsel. This individual will manage and oversee the offices administrative, financial, and operational activities, helping to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and smooth day-to-day operations. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, this position will also act as a key liaison between the Office of General Counsel and both internal and external stakeholders, facilitating communication and decision-making across the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide strategic oversight and leadership for the daily operations of the Office of General Counsel.
  2. Serve as a member of the Office of General Counsel leadership team requiring wide latitude of action and judgment.
  3. Assist in the coordination, interpretation, execution, and development of policies and enforcement of existing policies.
  4. Serve as the primary point of contact for the office, managing and triaging requests for the General Counsels time and attention.
  5. Manage special projects and ensure timely execution of action items as directed by the General Counsel.
  6. Review, prioritize, and manage incoming inquiries and issues, identifying the appropriate course of action or escalation.
  7. Monitor progress on office goals and initiatives; proactively identify barriers to success and provide actionable recommendations for course correction.
  8. Ensure seamless coordination and communication between the Office of General Counsel and key internal departments and external partners.
  9. Direct the work of staff as assigned by the General Counsel.

Preferred, Not Required:

  • Experience working in a legal department or office.
  • Experience working for a government agency.
  • Law license or paralegal certification.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of full-time professional staff administrative experience or related work.
