Language Enabled Open Source Analyst, Senior

You Have:

  • Knowledge of OSINT or PAI platforms, datasets, technologies, associated tradecraft, and geo-enabled tools within the Defense Intelligence Enterprise

  • Ability to conduct advanced internet-based research using tools and platforms such as Boolean logic, social media, and databases

  • Ability to brief senior leadership, manage reporting standards, and mentor colleagues

  • Ability to lead during crisis conditions, prioritize team tasks, and enforce production deadlines in a high-tempo operational environment

  • Ability to convey complex intelligence insights clearly through written and verbal communication methods

  • Ability to show a score of 2 on the DLPT, ILR, ODA, or ACTFL Advanced Low in the Mandarin language

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience with Open-Source Intelligence, or Associate's degree and 6+ years of experience with Open-Source Intelligence, or Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience with Open-Source Intelligence

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with scripting or programming using languages such as Python or R to process large open data sets or automate collection workflows

  • Experience with geolocation analysis from imagery or video, network analysis, and Target Discovery Analysis

  • Experience integrating OSINT into all-source analytic products or supporting multiple organizations

  • Ability to continuously learn OSINT tradecraft, emerging tools, and evolving threat landscapes, such as social media disinformation, supply-chain risk, and global stability

  • Bachelor's degree in Intelligence, National Security Studies, Political Science, Data Science, or a related field

  • Completion of Government or Commercial OSINT Training such as BOSIC, BOTC, AOTC, DIA Basic OSINT Course, CASO, or SANS 487Course

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
