Salary: $120,000-$180,000

The DevSecOps Engineer drives the automation and security backbone of NASIC's OPIR Platform modernization effort. Supporting R&D under the NOVASTAR program, you'll architect and manage cloud-native CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automated testing systems that enable secure and scalable software delivery. Your contributions ensure developers can innovate rapidly within a controlled, compliant software factory ecosystem.

• Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.

• Automate environment provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Terraform and Ansible.

• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate via Kubernetes and Argo CD.

• Embed automated testing, code analysis, and vulnerability scanning into pipelines.

• Collaborate with developers to streamline build, integration, and release processes.

• Monitor build performance and deployment metrics with Prometheus and Grafana.

• Maintain documentation for pipeline architecture, workflows, and audit compliance.

• Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD.

• Strong scripting in Python, Bash, and YAML.

• Experience implementing DevSecOps security controls (SAST, DAST, container scanning).

• Knowledge of RMF, STIGs, and DoD software factory frameworks.

• Familiarity with Agile workflows, Git branching, and cloud infrastructure design.
