As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for everyone on site. You will conduct routine patrols, interact professionally with staff and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors as needed.
• Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work at locations with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
