As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling retail and mall locations to help create a secure environment for customers, tenants, and staff. Your presence and regular patrols will help to deter security-related incidents, while your excellent communication and customer service skills will contribute to a positive experience for everyone at the site. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a welcoming environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas for potential security-related concerns, reporting any suspicious behavior or activity according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site staff to address specific needs and requirements for the location.
• Document all activities, observations, and incidents in a clear and timely manner as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Ability to use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
