Job Description




As a Security Professional - Healthcare Facility Patrol Driver in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a professional in this unarmed patrol position within a healthcare environment, you will monitor and conduct routine patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in fostering a welcoming atmosphere by providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to staff, patients, and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for navigating the premises as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, noting and reporting any suspicious circumstances.
  • Monitor and report on conditions that might impact patients, staff, and visitors within the healthcare environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and other Allied Universal personnel to address security-related concerns and support a welcoming environment for all individuals on site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required for hospital assignments.
  • Proof of high school diploma or General Education Development (GED) is required for this position.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
