As a Screener with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Conduct security-related screening procedures for personnel, vehicles, and/or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with inquiries and following site-specific protocols.
• Carry out site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and client management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor access points, entrances, and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited activities.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns to the appropriate authorities.
• Document incidents and maintain accurate records of activities conducted during the shift as required by site guidelines.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, management, and emergency responders when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid security-related guard card or license is preferred, subject to state and/or local laws.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
