Job Description




As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Driver in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while offering exceptional customer service. Your visible presence and professional demeanor help to maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for conducting vehicle patrols in addition to your on-foot responsibilities. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the manufacturing and industrial location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Document observations, incidents, and any security-related activity in detailed reports according to company and client procedures.
  • Collaborate with client staff and/or emergency responders when incidents arise to provide assistance as required.
  • Remain alert to potential hazards or disruptions within the facility and promptly communicate findings to the appropriate parties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years of security-related experience is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in law enforcement, military, or corrections is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
