As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents through regular, visible presence and exceptional customer service. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to situations with professionalism, and fostering a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a helpful presence throughout the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including both indoor areas and the surrounding perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any unusual circumstances.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, and verifying credentials as required by location policies.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and location-specific standards.
• Support the enforcement of location rules and regulations, and provide guidance or directions to patrons as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and location staff to address potential security-related concerns and support a welcoming environment for all visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
