Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within a healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Maintain a visible armed presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff, visitors and patients.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and to support site-specific requirements.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and interactions as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to address incidents or emergencies.
• Assist with patient, visitor, and staff wayfinding and provide information or directions as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
