As a Security Officer - Auto Lot Patrol Driver in Fountain Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and monitoring the premises at a leading automotive location. You will serve as a visible presence, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and personnel. This position requires driving as part of your patrol responsibilities. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the automotive facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or activity.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives according to established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Document and communicate all security-related incidents and actions taken during patrols.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain authorized access to the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A guard card or relevant license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
